Diagnostic Network Technologies a leading IT provider with over 25 years in Business and a solid base clientele is currently looking to add the following positions to a our team:

 

Network Field Engineer / Computer Support Technician

Typical tasks would include:

-Troubleshoot and repair laptop or PC hardware/software problems.

-Knowledge of routers and security

-Install hardware and setup software.

-Diagnose and repair problems via email, phone or in person at users location.

-Setup and troubleshooting of network Printers, Copiers. Perform regular maintenance on servers and workstations.

-Software installation and custom configuratin.

-Set up and install servers on site. (Server security, user profiles, Terminal Server configuration, Group Policy, Active Directory)

Skills and Qualifications:

-High School Diploma and Post secondary diploma related to computer support

-Microsoft Certification

Technical experience is a must but if we find the “star” team player we are also willing to provide training.

-Thorough knowledge of Win 2008 R2,Win 2012 R2, Win7,8 Pro

-Strong working knowledge of Dos,Powershell

-Experience with Microsoft windows networking and security.

-Strong knowledge with the Microsoft Office suite 2007/2010/2014

-Knowledge of web design

-Strong written and verbal communication skills

-Trouble shooting skills in a networked PC environment

-Ability to configure server desktop and laptop computers

-Ability to install computer hardware . Previous customer service exposure . Professional dress code is a must.

-Applicants must be team players in a multi-tasking environment, able to work alone with minimal supervision

Most important:

-Must have Analytical skills and able to research in order to suggest and implement new solutions and technologies.

-Must be detailed oriented, proactive and have strong time management skills, in order to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment. The role will also require lifting and transporting of moderately heavy objects, such as computers, servers and peripherals. Must be able to work under pressure with tight deadlines

Must have a valid driver’s license and own a roadworthy car. Mileage will be paid. Applicants with no car need not to apply.

-Even though our usual hours of operation are, Mon- Fri from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. occasional flexibility in working hours is necessary. Should be able to respond with very short notice and work after hours or weekend if needed a few times a year. Must have a computer and internet access, cell phone.
